PROCESSING AND DELIVERY TIMES
We ship to the Republic of Ireland from our main UK warehouse using Parcelforce, DPD or Royal Mail and aim to get all orders out on the next business day and sometimes even the same day. For most of Ireland, therefore, you will receive your order in less than 5-6 business days after placing it. This INCLUDES processing and ship times.
Occasionally some items may be shipped direct to you from suppliers in mainland Europe, this will be stated during the order process. For products shipping from mainland Europe - please allow up to 10 business days.
SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS
We will deliver anywhere in the Irish Republic. We do not make international deliveries. We also do not yet offer guaranteed overnight shipping.
PRODUCTS ARRIVING TOGETHER
Most products are shipped out together in one box and will arrive at the same time. If your order contains any 're-stocking' items we may send the available items immediately and the 're-stocking' items a few days later - there is no extra cost for this service. If the order is large and is shipped in more than one package, they may arrive separately. Tracking references and delivery date estimates are emailed to you for each package sent where applicable.
WHERE IS MY ORDER?
If the courier's tracking information shows the order has been delivered, be sure to check everywhere - occasionally couriers will leave packages with neighbours. If there is no tracking information or the tracking information shows the item as returned to us, contact us by email or call (UK) +44 207 193 3457. We may have the wrong shipping address, the driver may have attempted to deliver it but been unsuccessful, or the courier may have lost it.
IF YOU ARE NOT HOME
It is up to the driver's discretion whether to require a signature when delivering your order or whether to simply drop it off at your doorstep or with a neighbour. If the driver feels it is best to obtain a signature, he/she will try a few times to get one. After that, the package will be returned as "undeliverable" and you should get a full refund unless it is determined the order was improperly refused. All orders over EUR 250 require a signature.
TRACKING THE SHIPMENT OF YOUR ORDER
We send you a shipment confirmation email once your order ships. In most cases we provide you the courier's tracking number, which you can use on www.parcelforce.com, www.RoyalMail.com or www.DPD.co.uk to track your order.
DO YOU ACCEPT INTERNATIONAL ORDERS?
At present, Placemats.ie is not able to fulfill shipments outside of the Republic of Ireland. However our USA site, Placemats.com contains a wide range of placemat designs for customers in the continental USA and details of our network of European sites.
